《茶经》是一件24米长,冰逸历时四年半创作的
作品。它描述喝一口茶滋生万物宇宙的精神世
界。其间观者经历第一浪的开天辟地,仿佛宋代
山水中的高山峡谷;第二浪的深谷幽林,仿佛地
质岩层成为洞天福地;第三浪在阳光日出生出高
山流水,以及一层一层绽放的内心花朵。 最后经
历老树茶林,老梅少梅,桃花盛开,观赏茶石
(茶变成了太湖石),茶岛(茶树布满的岛屿)
和大荒淼淼的结尾。 此画经历过两次揭裱后墨色
脱落和纸张接近融化,第三次重新绘制和重新构
成之后,此画得以完整出现。

Tea Sutra is a 24-meter-long handscroll created by Bingyi over four and a half years.
The work envisions a spiritual universe born from a single sip of tea
—
a meditation on how one taste, one
breath, can generate the vastness of all existence.
The painting unfolds in three great waves.
The first wave opens the cosmos: mountains and valleys emerge in mist, recalling the grandeur of Song-dynasty
landscapes
—
the moment when heaven and earth first take form.
The second wave descends into deep ravines and ancient forests, where geological strata become sacred
grottoes, echoing the hidden architecture of the mind.
The third wave rises with sunlight and flowing waters; inner blossoms unfurl layer upon layer, as the spirit
awakens in radiant stillness.
The journey concludes in a realm of transformation
—
through aged tea groves, old and young plum trees, and
peach blossoms in bloom.
Tea turns to stone, taking the porous form of Taihu rock;
stone turns to island, covered in living tea trees;
and finally, everything dissolves into the boundless wilderness, where time and being return to silence.
The work itself endured a similar metamorphosis.
After two failed remountings
—
when ink faded and paper nearly disintegrated
—
Bingyi reconstructed and
repainted the entire scroll.
Only in this third incarnation did Tea Sutra emerge complete: a testament to endurance, renewal, and the quiet
power of transformation.
Like tea itself, it achieves its clarity only after passing through fire and water.
